CARDIGAN BAY SEA SCHOOL
 Cardigan Bay Sea School is an RYA accredited, shorebased sea school. All courses are held at the Community Education Centre in Penparcau, Aberystwyth in Ceredigion, West Wales. This is an excellent facility, with well equipped classrooms and a modern computer room, providing students with a computer each during the sessions on electronic navigation. All courses are taught by fully RYA qualified and experienced instructors.

    


WINTER TRAINING PROGRAMME 09/10


VHF Radio 1 day course. This is the new DSC/ GMDSS course that gives you the licence you need to operate the new DSC radios. £85 including the licence fee.

3 courses: 29th November, 21st February and 28th March


Basic Navigation and Safety course. Held over a weekend and an ideal way to get all the basic knowledge you need to get started on the water. Tides, traditional and electronic navigation, weather, collision avoidance regulations, safety etc. £150

3 courses: 21st / 22nd Nov., 9th/10th Jan. and 13th/14th March.


Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper/ Yachtmaster theory. These are more advanced 5 day intensive theory courses. If you are not sure which is right for you call me and we'll put you on the right course.

4 courses. 9th to 13th Dec, 13th to 17th January, 24th to 28th Feb.

17th to 21st March. These are all Wednesday to Sunday.
